At least two people were killed in Pakundia and Mithamoin upazila of Kishoreganj on Wednesday over family feud, land dispute and supremacy.
In Pakunida: A man was stabbed to death by his younger brother at Charteki village in Pakundia upazila over family feud on Wednesday morning.
The victim was indentified as Mokul Miah (53) son of late Md. Haronur Rashid.
Pakundia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Elies Hossain said that receiving on information, police rushed to the spot and dead body recovered. Police also arrested his younger brother named Moti Miah.
The dead body ws sent to morgue for autopsy.
In Mithamoin: An old man was kills by his rival groups over land dispute and supremacy at Ghagra area in Mithamoin upazila under Kishoreganj district on Wednesday.
The victim ws identified as Md. Shajahan Miah (65) son of Late Md. Donu Miah in Ghagra village of Mithamoin upazila.
Mithamoin Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Zakir Rabbni told the New Nation, received on information police rushed to the spot and dead body recovered.
The dead body was sent to Kishoreganj 250-bed General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
A case was filed in this connection with Mithamoin Police Station.
