Sylhet Correspondent :Police on Tuesday arrested at least two more activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) in connection with the violence at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) held on Thursday last. Earlier, police filed the case against 250 unnamed miscreants for obstructing policemen from discharging their duties and attacking them for which a policeman received bullet injuries during the clash.The arrested students have been identified as Hossain Muhammad Sagor and Ziaur Rahman, both are students of Sylhet International University(SIU), said Atiqur Rahman, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Jalalabad Police Station.Atiqur, also investigation officer of the case, said that a total of 32 accused had been arrested so far since a case was lodged on that day.The Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Jalalabad Police Station said that the four cases were filed against over 600 unnamed miscreants who were responsible for killing and injuring at SUST last Thursday.Some 57 accused had been arrested till Tuesday evening, OC added.
