Police recovered the bodies of two persons from Rupganj upazila of Narayanganj on Friday.
One of them is Hridoy Mia, 19, an auto-rickshaw driver by profession. The other person has yet to be identified.
According to Hridoy’s family, he left home with his auto rickshaw on Thursday evening and had been missing since then.
Police recovered his body from the Purbachal area of the upazila on Friday noon.
Rupganj police station Officer-in-Charge AFM Said said some miscreant’s perhaps slit Hridoy’s throat at some point on Thursday night before snatching his auto rickshaw.
The body was sent to the morgue of Narayanganj General Hospital for an autopsy.
Meanwhile, Bhulta police found the second body under the Golakandail Bridge on Friday afternoon.
Locals said he was mentally unstable.
