A team of Raid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested at least two members of a drug syndicate from the city’s Kurmitola General Hospital area in Dhaka on Thursday.
The two accused have been identified as Russel Hossain, 28, and Abdullah Al Mamun, 38.
During the drive, RAB seized two cars also used for transporting drugs, 426 bottles of liquors and 4,056 canes bear.
Md Kamruzzaman, Assistant Superintendent of police ( RAB-1) confirmed the news to the media saying that detained drug traders are the active members of different drug syndicate.
Even during initial interrogation, they confessed to have been supplying drugs across the country from the capital city.
