Two matches of the PRAN Bubble Gum Inter-School Basketball tournament were decided on Thursday at Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium with the participation of twenty schools.
On the first day of three-day competition, Chittagong Grammar School beat Green James International School by 36-05 points after leading the first half by 21-05 points while Summerfield School defeated Mangrove School by 29-05 points after dominating the first half by 18-3 points.
Earlier, President of Basketball Federation Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin formally inaugurated the three-day as the chief guest.
PRAN Bubble Gum is the title sponsor of the event, organized by the Bangladesh Basketball Federation (BBF).
