Two pump owners have been fined for giving less oil in Manikganj. AsaduzzamanRumel, assistant director of the district consumer rights protection department, was fined Tk 2 lakh on Monday (September 20th) at noon. The pumps have been instructed to shut down temporarily
It is learned that Dhaleshwari filling station and Milons filling station of Manikganj were fined one lakh taka each for supplying less oil through pump manipulation. AsaduzzamanRumel said that measuring 5 liters of octane at Dhaleshwari filling station in the jail gate area of ManikganjSadarUpazila, 344 ml less octane was found. Milons filling station at Mitra bus stand in the same upazila has 160 ml of octane and petrol less per 5 liters.
