Two films on Liberation War of the country are going to be released in December, the month of victory.
The films ‘Anil Bagchir Ek Din’ (A Day in the Life of Anil Bagchi) and ‘Shovoner Swadhinata’ (Freedom of Shovon) will hit the screens on December 11.
Based on the story of popular author Humayun Ahmed, the feature film ‘Anil Bagchir Ek Din’ (A Day in the Life of Anil Bagchi) has been directed by Morshedul Islam.
Produced under the banner of Bengal Creations Limited of Abul Khair, Anil Bagchir Ek Din features Aref Syed, Gazi Rakayet, Toufique Emon Jyotika Jyoti and Farhana Mithu in lead roles.
Based on a novel by Rashid Haider, ‘Shovoner Swadhinata’ is the directorial debut of Manik Manobik.
The film stars audience-admired actor Ferdous, along with Nipun, Wahida Mallick Joly, Chitralekha Guha, Khairul Anam Sobuj, Swadhin Khosru, among others.
In addition, 13 students-who have studied in Notre Dame College also acted in the film, and one of them is Rudro Raiyan, who plays the character of Shovon.
