ATM Shamsuzzaman and Shabnam are two legendary actors in the country’s film industry. Both of them have experience to work together in many films. They last worked together in 30 years ago in late Razzak directed movie Prem Shokti. Later they met in several occasions. Five years ago, they again met while receiving awards on same stage in a ceremony. During that time they couldn’t talk with each other freely. But ATM Shamsuzzaman gave commitment to go to her residence for open gossiping. Shabnam agreed with this proposal. Due to professional engagement they could not maintain this commitment. At last, last week at Shabnam’s Baridhara residence ATM Shamsuzzaman visited.
ATM Shamsuzzaman said, “There is no barrier of an actor. Due to necessity of acting he/she can work anywhere. Shabnam is that kind of actress. Once she was top actress of Pakistan. When she came to Bangladesh only Razzak and Kazi Hayat recognized her properly. Shabnam is our proud. It is very unfortunate we couldn’t recognize her as an actress properly. She is proud of our film industry. She is very popular actress.”
Shabnam shared her feelings by this way, “I could not get huge scope to work with ATM Shamsuzzaman Bhai. He likes me a lot. We can get the opportunity to meet a little bit. But we have better understanding. He is like my father. I also respect him.”
