Ekushey Award winner legendary actor, story writer and filmmaker ATM Shamsuzzaman worked with another noted actor Ratin in a drama serial together.
Directed by Kaisar Ahmed Ratin has been acting in a challenging role in ATN Bangla’s ongoing serial Rupali Prantor from its beginning.
Recently ATN Shamsuzzaman has been attached with the serial. This week Kaisar Ahmed has been finished shooting of Ratin and Shamsuzzaman acted episodes in the city’s Uttara area.
Md Jamal Uddin is producing the serial. He informed that already 95 episodes of the serial have already been telecasted.
But director Kaisar Ahmed informed that after attachment of ATM Shamsuzzaman in the serial its viewers will be increased. He believed viewers prefer to watch ATM’s acting. Meanwhile, Ratin is also acting in the serial.
While talking about the serial ATM Shamsuzzaman told this correspondent, “It is really tough to work during this summer. But Mr Jamal Uddin cordially requested me to work in this serial. My character has been written to keep in mind me. So I couldn’t regret to work. Kaisar is a talented director. For this reason, I am enjoying a lot. Therefore, I and Ratin are basically actors of big screen. So during break time, we took part in open discussion on the spot.”
Ratin shared his feelings by this way, “Story of serial ‘Rupali Prantor’ is really nice. ATM Bhai is a noted and talented actor. For this reason, it is always a joyful matter for me to work with him. In the serial, I have very much glad to get ATM Bhai as my regular co-actor.”
Ratin also informed that he got the scope to work with ATM Shamsuzzaman in two to three movies including Jawab Chai. For the last 10 years Ratin is not regular in acting in big screen.
On the other hand, ATM had made a movie titled Ebadat. He has keen interest to make another movie, he said.
