In Chittagong, 13,604 people took the second dose of Corona vaccine on Wednesday. Of these, 6,637 are residents of different upazilas of the district and 6,006 are residents of the city. With this, 1 lakh 55 thousand 464 people have taken the second dose of Corona vax in Chittagong on the 11th working day starting from last 6 April.
There are about two lakh more vaccines in stock. Earlier, the first dose of Corona was given in Chittagong from February 8. Many also took the first dose of Corona on Wednesday.
According to the Civil Surgeon’s Office, 561 people from different upazilas of the district and 902 people from the city received the first dose on Wednesday. So far 4 lakh 46 thousand 560 people have taken the first dose.
Of these, 2 lakh 50 thousand 242 people of City Corporation area and 1 lakh 96 thousand 316 people of different upazilas of the district have taken the first dose of Corona. Chittagong Civil Surgeon in charge. Mohammad Asif Khan confirmed this information to media.
