Two persons including a child, domestic worker, were killed in separate incidents in city’s Baizid area on Monday. The deceased were identified as Rima alias Lima, 13 and Mohammad Farid, 36. Police said Rima was critically injured after she reportedly fell off the roof of a six-storey building in city’s DOHS residential area under Baizid Police Station.
She was brought to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) where doctors declared her dead. “The house owner Shaheda was taken to the police station for interrogation as the incident seemed suspicious”.
