Two workers died and another fell sick due to reported poisoning in a leather factory in Hemayetpur area of Savar.
The incident took place in Prince Leather Engineering factory in Jhauchar area of Hemayetpur on Wednesday.
Leather industrial Police Outpost In-Charge Golam Nabi said that three workers of Prince Leather Industries fell sick suddenly while working in the factory on Wednesday
The deceased were identified as Hasan, 25 and Mahbub, 50.
One worker Razu said that Hasan died on the spot

while Mahbub and Moazzem were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the evening. Later duty doctor declared Mahbub dead.
