A businessman and a housewife were killed in separate road accidents in Satkhira on Wednesday
The accident took place in Nazimganj area of Kulia and Kaliganj upazila on Wednesday evening.
The deceased were identified as Sabikun Nahar, 26, wife of Hazrat Ali, and Noor Islam (70), son of late Ebadullah Sheikh of village Chinka in Kaliganj upazila of the upazila.
Debhata Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Biplob Kumar Saha said that on Wednesday, a bus left from Satkhira reached the premises of Kulia Girls School and faced a motor cycle in front of them. The woman died on the spot on the motorbike.
