Two persons including a little boy were killed in two separate road accidents in Purbadhala and Netrakona Sadar upazilas under Netrakona district on Monday.
Police and local people said child Nirob , 4, son of
Muzammel Mia from village Nashibpur under Purbadhala upazila was run over by an auto-rickshaw nearby his house at Nashibpur village in Purbadhala upazila when he was playing on the village road.
A motorcycle rider was crushed to death under the wheels of a truck at Challisha Bazar about six kilometers, west of Netrakona town, when he was proceeding towards the Rajendrapur area from the town.
The victim was identified as Ashish Kumar Saha(23), son of Shib Saha, a businessman of Teligati Bazaar in Atpara upazila of the district.
After the accident, police seized the killer truck, but the driver managed to flee.
On receiving information , police recovered the bodies from the aforesaid spots and sent them to Netrakona sadar hospital morgue for postmortem, the police sources said.
Two separate cases were filed with Purbadhala and Netrakona sadar police stations in connection with the accidents, the police sources added.
