Two motorbike riders were killed and two others injured as a bus hit their bike in Amtoli area under Manikchhari upazila of the district on Tuesday morning.
The deceased are M Arif and Mohidul Islam, residents of Jaliapara area of the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge of Manikchhari Police Station M Mainuddin said a Chittagong-bound speedy mini bus hit a motorbike on the Khagrachhari- Chittagong Highway of the area, leaving four people injured.
The injured were sent to Manikchhari Upazila Health Complex where two bike riders succumbed to their injuries.
Later, other injured were shifted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
