At least two people were killed and twenty persons were injured in a clash between two rivals groups over water body dispute and supremacy at Digdair area in Tarail upazila of Kishoreganj on Saturday noon.
The victim were identified as Md. Shahed Ali (50), son of late Kurshed Miah and Kamal Miah (32).
The seriously injured Jowel (30) was admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital and others were sent to local hospitals.
On information, Acting Police Super Syed Abu Sayem rushed to the spot and bring the situation under control.
Additional Police patrolling the area.
The dead body were sent to morgue for autopsy. A case was field in this connection with Tarail Police Station.
