Two people were killed in a road accident adjacent to Mathbaria College in Mathbaria upazila on Saturday morning. A human hauler skidded off the road and hit a roadside tree after its driver lost his control over the steering around 9 am, leaving its passenger Salam Khan, 65, dead on the spot and three others injured, said police. Later, another injured M Toufiq, 52, a resident of Kishoreganj district, succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital while two others were sent to Mathbaria Upazila Health Complex.
