At least two minor kids were killed as a boat carrying a groom and his relatives, capsized in Sonai river near Satbarge bridge area of Brahmanbaria on Friday noon.
The victim were identified as Srabanti (6), a student of class one daughter of Md Abdul Hye of Binighat village in Bijaynagar upazila and Mukta (13) daughter of Selek Miah from the same village.
Bijoynagor Police Station Officer-in-charge (OC) Md. Arshed said that we received on information, police rushed to the spot and police and fine service members recovered their bodies from the Sonai river.
The boat capsized around 2.20 P.M as the groom and his relatives were traveling in it from Brahmanbaria to Madhabpur.
