Two juveniles confined for prostitution rescued

Karnaphuli thana police in Chittagong rescued two teenaged girls from Charlaikhya village under Karnaphuli thana recently.
 These juveniles were forced to engage in the prostitution business by two women brokers in a rented house of the area. The approximate age of these juveniles is 23 yrs and another 21 year. These juveniles hail from Bandarban district area and they have old good relations with these two detained women brokers.
These women brokers identified as Latifa Begum(30) and Parvin Akhter(26) hail f ro m Pekua upazila of Coxsbazar district. Police sources quoting the s tatement of the victims said these women brokers allured them for better jobs in Chittagong and brought them in a rented house of Charlaikya of Karnaphuli thana and compelled them in prostitution forcibly. After 21 days passed of their stay in city area, on a secret tip-off from the area, police conducted raid and caught them red handed alongwith the brokers.
 Police sources said a pimp of these juveniles informed the matter to Karnaphuli thana police on Friday and police instantly conducted raid and rescued these juveniles f rom the house. On first interrogation, these women traffickers confessed their involvement with the prostitution business forcibly by these juveniles. Police lodged separate case against these women traffickers before the concerned police, sources said.
