Prof Dr Kazunori Arita and Prof Dr Sumie Nakatani of Kagoshima University of Japan on Thursday called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter’s office here.
Director of the Institute of Modern Languages of Dhaka University Prof Sultan Ahamed and Dr Md Monir Uddin were present on the occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest specially the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programmes between the Institute of Modern Languages of Dhaka University and Kagoshima University of Japan. Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique thanked the guests for their visit to and keen interest in undertaking joint academic programmes with Dhaka University.
