The authority of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Thursday expelled its two assistant registrars temporarily over the allegation of indiscipline and beating of some officials of the university.
Acting registrar SM Abdul Latif confirmed the matter.
The expelled assistant registrars are Abdul Hannan of Pro-Vice Chancellor office and Alamgir Hossain Khan of Treasurer office of the university.
Acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif told that they were expelled temporary by the order of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Hakim Sarker under the sub-section ‘C’ and ‘E’ of section 3 of Employee Efficiency and Discipline Ordinance of the university.
