At least two persons were injured in a bomb explosion in a residence of capital’s Mohammadpur area Wednesday afternoon.
The members of law enforcing agencies have recovered 11 crude bombs from the house.
The injured persons were identified as Anwarul Islam, and Nuru Mia.
They were rushed to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), police said.
Mohammadpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Azizul Haque said that the explosion took place on the 4th floor of a building on Road No. 4 of Dhaka Udyan in the afternoon.
However, police could not verify whether the two were involved with any political parties, the police official said.
The owner of the house has been detained for questioning, the OC said.
