Two activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) were injured during a factional clash at Chittagong University (CU) over establishing supremacy on the campus.Police detained 6 activists of CU BCL from spot for interrogation yesterday .
The injured are identified as Platon Chakma of Pali Deparment under 2016-17 academic session and Mahedi Hasan of English deparment .
Witnesses said the clash took place between the followers of Choose Friend with Care(CFC) group led by Senior BCL leader Sayon Amit and Sixty Nine group led by Mansur Alam around 1 pm.
CFC leader Sayon Amit alleged that Some misunderstanding took place between two groups’ junior activists yesterday night. Then we met the problem by communicating with senior leaders. but unfortunately senior leaders instigated their juniors and they attacked on our juniors yesterday.
