A housewife was killed allegedly by her brother-in-law at Panthapara village under Bagharpara upazila in Jashore.
The victim was identified as Jinia Islam Tuli, 24, wife of Julfiqur Ali of Panthapara village.
Wahidul Islam, officer in-charge, Bagharpara police station told that her brother in-law Shahabuddin stab her over family feud at their residence on Saturday night. She was rushed to Jashore General Hospital and died there on Sunday. ‘She was stabbed in 13 places in her body,’ the police official added.
Shahidul Islam, father of the victim filed a case with Bagharpara police station in this connection but none was arrested.
Benapole Correspondent adds: A house wife was died after falling a coconut tree in Tatulia village under Monirampur Upazila of Jashore district on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Hasina Khatun 22 wife of Shariful Islam Gazi of the village. She has two children.
Local UP member Moslem Uddin confirmed and said that Halima Khatun and Hasina khatun went to their Garden looking for dry leaves backside of their house. Halima Begum returned home when sudden come up storm. But Hasina continued to work. At that time, a coconut tree broke down and fall on Hasina Khatun. She died on the spot.
