Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-7) members arrested two men with country- made 3 fire arms and sharp knife from Najirpara area of Teknaf sadar union of Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district on Wednesday morning.
RAB source said, acting on a tip-off RAB members launched a drive to nab Anam group and arrested two persons from there.
The arrested were identified as Abdur Rahman,30, and Abdu Rashid,45.
Major Kazi Md Rasedul Alam, in-charge of RAB-7 Cox’s Bazar camp, confirmed the fact and told the journalists that there was a gang of criminal, when saw the RAB they runaway in hilly area.
RAB caught two members of Anam Bahinee and seized two LGs, one country made pistol, two round shell and 6 pieces sharp knives.
