Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested two alleged drug traders, including a woman,along with 25,000 Yaba tablets from Saijjer Tek area in the city on Thursday night.
The arrestees are Moyna Bibi, 35, wife of Selim Reza, a resident at Dighalkandi village of Puthia upazila and Md Bulbul Ahmmed, 20, son of Ejajul Haque of Kajirpara village of Poba upazila in Rajshahi district.
A team of Rab-7 raided a ‘Desh Travel Paribahan’ bus from Cox’s Bazar around 11 pm and recovered 12,000 Yaba tablets from a box and 13,000 others searching bodies of the two arrestees, said a press release.
