Chittagong Bureau :
A mobile court of district administration of Chittagong on Tuesday pronounced two greengrocers behind the bar for one month and also fined two others including the earlier ones for selling out essentials at extra prices without hanging price-list yesterday.
The court led by the deputy commissioner Mesbah Uddin conducted an anti-price hike drive in the city’s Reazuddin Bazar, the city’s largest wholesale and retail kitchen market. The court fined wholesaler Md Mohsin and retailer Kabir Hossain Tk 50,000 and Tk 30, 000 respectively while Mohsin along with another retailer Faruque Ahmed were handed down a one-month jail each
