Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) rescued two girls while they were being trafficked to India through Putkhali-Bastola border point of Benapole here on Monday night. The rescued girls were identified as Khadija Akter, 14, daughter of
Ainuddin and Beauty Khatun, 13, daughter of Munzil Ali, both hailing from Kishoregang district.
Benapole BGB Camp Commander Subedar Abul Hossain said, on secret information, a team of the BGB conduct a drive in the area around 8pm and rescued the girls.
