A tribunal Court has sentenced life term imprisonment to two people for killing a women and her child.
Additional District & Sesion Judge Md. Abu Taher passed the order on Thursday.
The convicts are Nazrul Islam, Son of Md. Zaher of Sahapara in Belabo upazila of Narsingdi and Jowel Bhuiya, Son of Momrul Bhuiyan. Jowel is currently at large.
According to case story, the convicts were locked in a long dispute with Dipali Begum Dipa hailed from Betagia village in Shibpur upazila of Narsingdi District over a loan payment. As Dipa pressed them to Faridpur Sharine in Kuliarchar Upazila of Kishoreganj and kiled them near Meghna river bank.
The case was conducted by Public Procecutor Shah Azizul Hoque and Advocate Onamica Reza Roji for accused.
