Two found dead in Khulna

Proprietor and worker of a Lethe Workshop at Sonadanga Truck Terminal area in Sonadanga Police Station were killed on Friday night.
Police recovered the dead bodies from a hired house and sent to KMCH for autopsies. Primarily police suspected that some miscreants might kill the duo. Tense situation is prevailing in the area after the double murder occurrence.
The deceased were identified as Mehedi Hasan, 17, son of Humayun Kabir, resident of Doctor Para area in front of Khulna Medical Hospital (KMCH) and Workman of the Lethe workshop Md Aktar Hossain, 55, son of late Shamsuddin Mondol, hailing from Kaligonj upazila area of Jhenidaha district.
Police and local people said, deceased Aktar gave rent on January 7 to the proprietor of the house Md. Idris Ali, an Ex Army officer.
Idris Ali said, an unidentified old man came to him on Friday night at around 8.30 pm who showed him the photograph of Aktar asked about his residence, I showed the residence. Thereafter, the old man dashed the door of the room and found two hanging dead-bodies (Aktar and Mehedi). After hearing the shout of the old man, we went ahead and informed the incident to the police, Idris Ali added.
Deputy Police Commissioner (DC, South) of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) Ehsan Shah, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC, Sonadanga Zone) SM Shakiluzzaman and OC of Sonadanga Police Station Md. Momtajul Islam visited the spot.
