Two former leaders of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Dhaka University (DU) unit were held Tuesday evening with Yaba and local arms from a residential hall.
DU proctorial team raided Hazi Mohammad Mohsin Hall in the evening and picked up two leaders with Yaba, gun and local arms and handed them over to Shahbagh police station.
The duo were identified as BCL DU unit former deputy sports secretary, also student of Institute of Education Research Hasibur Rahman Tushar, and former deputy secretary, also Islamic History and culture department student Abu Bakar Alif.
Confirming the matter, proctor Prof AKM Golam Rabbani told UNB that two students were held with a fully loaded gun and local arms from Hazi Mohammad Mohsin Hall.
