A man and a minor boy were electrocuted in separate incidents in the district on Thursday and Friday.
Three wheeler driver Moksed Ali, 40, of Nalarghat village in Sadar upazila died on the spot after being electrocuted at his own residence around 10 am on Friday, said Paigam Ali, chairman of Nargun Union Parishad.
Earlier on Thursday, Rifat, 8, son of Anwar Hossain of Bahati village of Haripur upazila was electrocuted while came in touch with a live electric wire when he was trying to bring down Argentina’s flag from a tree, said Ruhul Kuddus, officer-in-charge of Haripur Police Station.
