Two people died of electrocution and another suffered injuries at Nowapara village in Purbadhala upazila here on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Masud, 26, son of Abdul Hashim, and Ruma Akhter, 24, of the village.
Relatives said Masud came in contact with a live snapped wire while going to a nearby pond to get his cattle bathed.
