Two persons including a woman were electrocuted of Nabinagar upazila in the district on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Kamal Miah, 35, son of Ful Miah of Kishorpur village and Jahanara Begum, 45, wife of Rustam Ali of the upazila.
Kamal with four others were electrocuted as they came in contact with a live electric wire in Thanakandi area, Kamal died on the spot, locals said.
The injured were admitted to the upazila health complex.
Besides, Jahanara was seriously injured by electrocution of Poshchim Para’ of the upazila. Later, she was taken to upazila health complex where doctor declared her dead, local people said.
