A Chittagong court on Tuesday sentenced two drug traders to 10 years of imprisonment for possessing and trading country-made liquor, court sources said.
The 5th Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Nur-E-Alam delivered the judgment convicting Mosharraf Hossain and Mohammad Jafar hailed from Mirsarai upazila of the district.
The court also fined them Taka 10,000 each, in default; they will have to suffer one year more imprisonment.
