Two drug peddlers held with phensidyl, whiskey in Sherpur

Police arrested two drug peddlers with 190 bottles of Phensedyl and 24 bottles of whiskey at Uttar Bazar area in Nalitabari town of Sherpur district on Sunday .
The arrested were identified as Sanjay Sutradhar (25) son of Madhu Sudan Roy and Lukonath Chandra Shil (27) son of Panesh Chandra Shil at Kacharipara area of Nalitabari upazila.
Police said on secret information a raid was conducted in Uzzal Computer shop at about 12 pm. According to his confession, police conducted another raid in Lukonath Haircutting Salon in the same market and seized 190 bottles of Indian phensidyl and 24 bottles of Indian Royal Stage whiskey from Lukonath’s Salon. The local said Sanjay had been dealing drugs for a long time under the guise of computer business.
Officer in charge of Nalitabari thana Bashir Ahmed Badal said the drug peddler Sanjay had earlier been arrested with foreign drugs.
