At least two minors drowned in two rivers in Cox’s Bazar on Friday.
In-Charge of Cox’s Bazar Fire Service Station Abdul Mazid said on Friday at 10:30am, four children – Mehedi Hasan, 7, Mizanur Rahman Sakib, 9, Tamim, 6, and Rony, 7, of Katalia Para Village under Khuniapalong Union of Ramu Upazila went to take bath in the Reju River at the Red Bridge Point under Ukhia Haldia Palong and drowned.
Hearing their scream, locals rescued Sakib, Tamim and Rony but Mehedi remained missing.
