Kurigram Correspondent :
A student of class eight of Rajibpur High School of Kurigram and a housewife died of snake bite on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Mister 14, son of Abul Kalam Azad of village Sheberdangi under the upazila and housewife Sajeda 35,wife, of Fajlul Haq of village Kheyar Char of the district .
Local sources said , when the school boy was going through a bush near his house at 3 pm on Wednesday suddenly a poisonous cobra bite on his leg.
After some time foam was emitting from his mouth. He was immediately taken to Rajibpur Upazila Health Complex in a critical condition where he died at 12pm on Wednesday.
Another Sajeda Begum while she was bringing some jute sticks from kitchen at that time a large snake bite her. She was immediately transferred to Roumari Health Complex .In a critical condition she was referred to Rangpur Medical College and died there.
