Members of Bangladesh National Cricket team have got two-day recess.
Technical Director of Bangladesh National Cricket team Khaled Mahmud Sujan said to the journalists, ” The practice resumes tomorrow (Saturday). The cricketers have been given leisure to keep their fitness. We are thinking about the conditions of Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS). Though the matches of Tri-Nation ODI series will start at 12.00 Noon but I watched that after the evening, the dew and moisture made the pitch and outfield wet. The spinners and the batsmen faced problem. So, we had been practicing at the SBNCS for some days after the evening.”
The Tigers want to retain their success in their home soil. Besides, They want to give an appropriate answer to their former head coach Chandika Hathurusingha. Hathurusingha is now the Head Coach of Sri Lanka National Cricket team.
It may be mentioned that hosts Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe will compete in the Tri-Nation ODI series starting from January 15.
