Two-day film show held at TSC to help flood victims

With the aim to help the flood-victims of Sylhet and Sunamganj regions, Dhaka University Film Society (DUFS) organised a two-day film screening titled ‘Film for Flood Victims’ at TSC Auditorium of University of Dhaka. All the collections from the exhibition will go to charity work and will be used to help the flood victims of Sylhet, said the organisers.

The two-day exhibition was held on June 19 and 20. The ticket price was a minimum of Tk100 and if anyone wants to donate more, there was also an option for that too. Goutam Ghose’s movie Padma Nodir Majhi, Basu Chatterjee’s Hothat Brishti, Imtiaz Bijon Ahmed’s directorial movie Matir Projar Deshe and Abdullah Mohammad Saad’s Live from Dhaka were screened on last day of the screening. Movies Pitch Dhala Poth, Ei Ghor Ei Songsar, Ghetu Putro Komola and Monpura were screened on the opening day of the event.
