Chandpur Correspondent :
Two cousins, Mahmudur Rahman,7, son of Masud Rana and Sanjida,5,daughter of Shah Alam, drowned in a pond near their home in Korish area under Kachua upazila of the district on Tuesday evening.
The ill-fated cousins slipped into the pond when they were playing on its bank. Locals rescued Mahmudur Rahman and Sanjida seeing them floating in the pond water.
They were rushed to Kachua Upazila Health Complex where attending doctor declared the two dead.
