Two policemen were attacked by a gang of gamblers when the policemen went to arrest a gambler. Md. Shafiqul Islam, Assistant Sub Inspector of Police and Md, Abdul Awal, a police constable were wounded in this incident. Abdul Awal (35) constable was seriously injured and he was admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital for better treatment. A case was filed in this connection with Pakundia Thana.
