Two brothers and sisters drowned in a water body at Kollanpur village in Jhenidah Sadar upazila on Tuesday afternoon.
They were identified as Saira Khatun, 9 and Saimun Hossain, 7 son of Zillur Rahman of Kollanpur village of the upazila. They are brother and sister.
Family members said, at around 4.00 pm on Tuesday afternoon both Saira and Saimun were playing together by the side of Zhapor water body nearing to their houses
Suddenly they fell down in the water and died there.
