risingbd.com: Two laborers of a brickfield were slaughtered to death by extortionists at Mujibnagar upazila in the district on Sunday. According to sources, extortionists adducted the two laborers of Star Bricks and later slaughtered them to death as the owner of the brickfield did not pay extortion as their demand. The deceased were indentified as Sabar Ali (30), son of the late Tamir Ali at Mahajanpur and Abdus Selim (32), son of late Abdul Jalil. Being informed of the brickfield, police recovered the dead bodies near a mango orchard at 2.30am.
