Staff Reporter :Police recovered a petrol bomb and a cocktail from the room of a doctor at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) on Thursday morning.A bottle, suspected to contain petrol, was also found near the substance wrapped in a red tape, saidInspector Mozammel Hossain, In-charge of DMCH Police Outpost. A deep panic was seen among the doctors, nurses, patients and others of the hospital, he said.The police official said that DMCH messenger Jasim opened the room of Dr Debesh Chandra Talukder around 9:00am, a leader of Swadhinata Chikitshak Parishad and found the object.On recept of information, Bomb Disposal Unit of Dhaka Metropolitan (DMP), rushed to the spot and recovered the ‘bombs’ from the room, he said Police are investigating the matter.
