Police recovered a hanging body of a young man and floating body of an unidentified youth from two spots of Raipur and Sadar upazilas in the district on Saturday.
AKM Azizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Raipur Police Station, said police recovered a hanging body of Abu Sayeed, from Charbangshi area of Raipur upazila in the morning. He said locals spotted the body hanging
from a tree and informed police. Later, police recovered it. Police, however, could not clear whether it was murder or suicide. Mokter Hossain, officer-in-charge of Chandraganj Police Station, said locals spotted a body of an unidentified youth floating in a water body in Podder Bazar area of Sadar upazila.
On information, police recovered the body. Police suspect that the young man might have been strangled to death, the OC added.
