Two bodies recovered in Jessore

Chansra camp under Kotwali police station and Jessore railway police recovered two bodies from the residence of a mason and from the rail track on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
The dead are identified as Amirul Islam, 45, a mason at Sarapole village under Jessore sadar upazila and Jewel Rahman, 20, a rickshaw-van puller of Baisha village under Keshabpur upazila.
Sub inspector Jamal Uddin, in-charge, Chansra police camp told journalists that being informed by the locals the police recovered the body of Amirul from his residence at around 10pm on Wednesday. ‘He could be killed by his wife over her love affairs with a man in Monirampur,’ he added.
The police arrested his wife Samiran Bibi on suspicion, the police said.
In another incident, the rail police recovered the body of Jewel Rahman from the rail track at Gopalpur under Jessore upazila in the morning on Thursday.
