The authorities of BASIC Bank have terminated two of their officials on charges of loan irregularities.
The decision came on Thursday’s board meeting of BASIC Bank.
The officials are Shipar Ahmed, deputy general manager, and Zahid Hasan, deputy manager.
Earlier, the authorities of BASIC Bank suspended them for sanctioning loans for thousands of crores taka without proper scrutiny, and collateral when they were serving the bank’s Gulshan branch, Dhaka.
