Two youths arrested for violating a girl student of class seven at local Kuralia Secondary School in Patibari village under Satla union of Wazirpur upazila under Barishal district.
Shishir Kumar Pal, officer in charge of Wazirpur police station, acknowledging the facts said the arrested two rapists were handed over to police by local people after rescuing the victimized girl on early Friday.
The arrested two rapists were identified as Nurul Islam Boyati, 20, son of Nurul Islam Boyati of Poysharhut under Agoiljhara upazila of Barishal and Tarikul Islam, 19, son of Ali Akbar of KalarBari under Kotalipara upazila of Gopalganj district.
The victimized school girl as complainant lodged a case in this connection on Friday noon accusing the arrested two for violating her.
The accused two sent to jail after producing before the court and the victim sent to Barishal Sher E Bangla Medical College Hospital for medical test on Friday afternoon, police sources said.
