Both the 4th round matches of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) football, which was postponed due to unplayable condition of the ground, will now be held today (Friday).
On the day, Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra will take on newly promoted Saif Sporting Club at 5 pm while Brothers Union Club will meet Arambagh Krira Sangha at 7.15 pm Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS). After the third round matches, Muktijoddha and Saif Sporting Club both have collected six points each.
On the other hand, Brothers Union Club have bagged two points while bottom-ranked Arambagh Krira Sangha are yet to secure any point from the same number of outings.
Earlier, on Wednesday, heavy rain in the capital flooded the playing ground of BNS leaving the venue unsuitable of hosting any match.
